With our toddlers, we promote feelings of security and trust in infants and toddlers; by greeting infants and their parents warmly and with enthusiasm each morning, by assuring each infant and toddler is warmly greeted upon arrival.
Each infant is held; and each child is gradually assisted to become a part of a small group.
Hello – I am Spanada LaShunda Ison-Whipple
I am the infant’s classroom teacher; where I am assigned group of infants and toddlers applying best practices for infant/toddler care; I have about 10 years of childcare experience.
My goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for each child; specifically diapering, food care, sleeping protocols, and safety; while offering them the opportunity to develop their natural curiosity by playing and interacting with other children.
I am a native Atlantan, and have been married 4 years.
I am the mother of 2 girls, ages 17 and 11.
I attended the Atlanta Public School System, and graduated D. M. Therrell High School.
